Ginger Geissinger is a Colorado native, born and raised near Boulder, Colorado. She attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, and continued her education at the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law where she was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity. After graduating from law school in 2001, Ms. Geissinger took a sabbatical from the law, moving to Las Vegas, Nevada. She returned to Colorado and was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 2004.
Ms. Geissinger began her legal career with Boulder County Legal Services where she handled cases involving domestic relations and housing law. She also volunteered with the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center as a Guardian ad Litem for children in dependency and neglect proceedings. Subsequently, Ms. Geissinger was hired by the District Attorney’s Office, moving her to Sterling, Colorado where she covered county and district court dockets in Sterling, Akron, Julesburg and Holyoke. By 2006, Ms. Geissinger was beginning to specialize in Juvenile Prosecutions. Motivated by her desire to help children rather than prosecute them, she decided to make the leap to private practice, joining Collins, Liu & Lyons.
By moving into private practice, Ms. Geissinger was able to find her true calling – the legal representation and defense of juveniles. Ginger is passionate about her work with children and has been recognized for her excellent work by the Logan County Department of Social Services.
